Karen lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her husband Paul, a
bossy cat named Tater Tot, and a mischievous dog named Daffy. She is mom to four
grown children, stepmom to three, and grandma to an assortment of
kids who range from 20 to 5.
Karen's articles, poems and editorials have appeared in a wide range of publications.
Her outside interests include prison ministry and addressing the needs of people with developmental disabilities. She reads a lot, walks when motivated, and swims at every
opportunity.
